Our Approach

We support our members in their pursuit of health and fitness in a supportive environment. Beginner, or advanced. Our programming is constantly varied with a focus on strength and conditioning. Each class begins with mobility and warm up. Followed by strength portion and then we finish with up metabolic conditioning. We want you to prepare you for any competition, sport, or whatever life throws at you.

CrossFit may begin in the gym, but that's not where it ends. You'll learn new things about yourself, make different life choices, approach challenges with confidence and develop new friendships. You'll understand movement and what your body is capable of and apply that to your daily life.

Breanne Feudale Coach & Co-owner

Masters Degree in Kinesiology - emphasis in Exercise Physiology, Strength and Conditioning specialist, USAW Olympic Weightlifting , CrossFit Level 2


Breanne Feudale is co-owner and Head Coach at HomeGrown CrossFit. She has always had a passion for fitness and physical activities. At a young age, she began playing club soccer and continued her enthusiasm for this sport throughout her high school years. At the age of 13, she began to participate in another sport, the Korean martial art of Taekwondo. She went on to compete in many local, state and national tournaments where she was able to earn bronze, silver and gold medals.

Through her dedication in Taekwondo, she achieved her third degree Black Belt. In addition to Breanne’s fitness background, she has earned her Masters Degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology. She also has a B.A. Degree in Graphic Design from San José State University. Breanne is a certified Strength and Conditioning specialist, a USAW Olympic Weightlifting Coach and a certified Level 2 CrossFit Coach. In 2008 and 2009, she participated in the CrossFit Games. In 2009 she placed third at the NorCal Regional CrossFit Regionals. In 2010 and 2012, Breanne also qualified in the NorCal Regionals. In 2013 she placed 21st fittest female in NorCal Regionals and in 2014, she placed 26th fittest female in NorCal Regionals.

Breanne is now the mother of twins and enjoys working out hard and inspiring each of her clients to do the same to achieve their own personal goals. She believes that physical strength and fitness are very important in life and when the body is physically fit, it can operate at its maximum level. Her philosophy holds true to the saying, “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.”



Kent Kitagawa Coach & Co-owner

CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, Kukkiwon Taekwondo Master, CPR/AED/First Aid certification


Kent brings an extensive background in coaching and fitness. He has coached and trained in the martial arts of Taekwondo for over 35 years and holds a 5th degree Master Black belt. He began his fitness venture by opening KIK’S Taekwondo in San Mateo where he taught both the art and sport aspects of the martial arts for over 16 years. He also served as the Associate Head Coach for the Stanford University Taekwondo Club for over 10 years and was appointed as the head coach of the US National Collegiate Taekwondo team in 2012 and 2013. In addition, with his knowledge in functional movement, he was hired by Dusty Baker as the Chicago Cubs speed and agility trainer and assisted the team during spring training and winter camps.

By joining Breanne at HGX, Kent is able to continue his passion for health and fitness and help inspire athletes of all levels to work hard, have fun, and attain their individual fitness goals.



Jazmin Estevez Coach

CrossFit Level 2


Jazmin was born and raised in Colombia. She has always been involved in sports. She went to University to pursue her International Business and Economics Bachelor’s degree where she joined the University volleyball team and competed in nationals and got a scholarship.
In 2013 she discovered a Crossfit gym in her hometown in Colombia and from the very first day Crossfit became her passion. “What I love about Crossfit is that it doesn’t matter what level you are at, there is always room for improvement, ALWAYS!! I Love to be able to encourage people to give their best every time they come to my class and see them leaving with a smile on their faces, making their experience at our gym the best part of their day." Jazmin is Level 2 Certified CrossFit Trainer; you can typically find her in the morning classes, either working out or teaching.



Phong Le Coach

CrossFit L1, CrossFit Mobility


Phong Le is a certified Personal Trainer and CrossFit coach who focuses on instilling his clients with a lifetime of health and fitness knowledge. With every client, he spends a tremendous amount of time focusing on proper technique. Once the proper technique is achieved Phong will advance them and focus on strength training.

His clients will get enhanced results out of each workout from Phong's fitness ideology.

Phong began as a Head Coach at CrossFit Gilroy and also coached at Coast Range CrossFit. His training certifications include CrossFit L1, Kelly Starrett mobility Certification, NASM, TRX, Kettle Bell, UFC NSAM, Yoga 200 RTY Fog Lotus.

He also has trained and coached competitors for Bikini and CrossFit competitions. In 2009 and 2010, he competed in Crossfit. Peacebank Yoga Studio deemed him the student of the month for his dedication and enthusiasm (he has participated in over 550 classes in one year). He is also inspired by Brazilian Ju Jitz Zu and is continually growing his field of knowledge in the fitness industry to help promote a healthy and functional lifestyle.



Heather Allegro Coach

CrossFit Level 1 coach & Massage Therapist


Heather, a San Francisco native spent years of her fitness in a globo gym then discovered CrossFit. Heather's passion for wellness and fitness grew by stepping out of her comfort zone to become a coach. She has competed in local Crossfit competitions and Olympic weightlifting meets that have challenged her to be a better coach. She believes, the most rewarding aspect of coaching CrossFit classes are when members gain more confidence in themselves when class is over than when they first walked in.



Steve Marchand Membership Director/Coach

CrossFit Level 1 coach


Steve is a Vietnam Vet, a graduate of UC Berkeley, married his high school sweetheart. He maybe the worlds most okayest CrossFiter, but loves it.
